WHO ARE WE

Trabzon, the largest gate opening to the East, the port, free zone, international airport, its location on the historical Silk Road and Organized Industry Region of Trabzon; as a result of self sacrificing work nearly 4.000 staff, the million dollar export capacity, contribution to the economy of the region and Turkey, with its modern facilities the pride of the Black Sea Region.
Our Region has been established according to the decision (dated 23.07.1976, 7/12707 nr.) of Council of Ministers on 13.10.1985, and by the Board of Entrepreneurs, which created by the Special Provincial Administration of Trabzon, Trabzon Municipality, Trabzon Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Municipality of Arsin with credit support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the Arsin district boundaries on 983,420 m2 area.

The new administration has been set by the first regular board meeting, which met according to the OIR law nr. 4562, article 25 on Saturday, 07.06.2003. Organized Industrial Region is governed by 5 members of the Board of Directors, who belong to the investors in OIR, according to the OIR law nr. 4562 and related regulations for two years.


According to the approved parceling plan there are total 87 industry parcels on 28 blocks of building , the smallest one is 4,410 m2 and the largest parcel is 28,237 m2. In addition to these parcels there are units including social facilities, water treatment units and green areas. Infrastructure works, infrastructure of roads, sewage, storm water pumping line, 1000 m3 tank, drainage, flood protection, telecommunication construction, drinking water and energy operating lines have been completed and put into service.

There is no parcel in our OIR, which is not sold or not allocated. Because our OIR was removed from the investment program by the government, we continue to invest with our own resources and we also pay the loans meanwhile.
